The crab is a creature capable of living in water and on land. It is unique, interesting, and colorful. What's special about the crab is that it walks sideways.

About twenty years ago, I was in a severe car accident that resulted in the amputation of my leg and loss of my sight.

During the period when I was in orthopedic rehabilitation and learning to walk with a prosthetic leg, climbing slopes was the most challenging for me as an amputee. The sideways crab-like walking was an option that made it easier for me to ascend or descend difficult slopes.

Following the accident, I rarely visit the beach. My longing for the sea created in me the need to build a creation that reminds me of and connects to my childhood memories of spending time at the beach.
